This 1.5 hour guided walking tour is for those who prefer a group tour with one of our trained historians. This tour follows the steps of the 1963 protesters who marched to the end of the City’s segregationist polices.
What to bring: Binoculars will give you a better view but not required. Binoculars are available on a shared basis with your travel guide. This is an outdoor activity in hot and cold temperatures. Walking shoes will provide a best comfortable experience. There is a rest break every 15 minutes. There are no water fountains along the trail. There are several local restaurants with drinks and snacks for purchase.
What to bring: Binoculars, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. Walking shoes are recommended.
